In 2014 Marches Biogas Ltd designed, built and commissioned a 3,200m3 semi plug flow digester for Bagley Biogas, producing 500kWe per annum.  The digester is fed a mixture of chicken manure, maize silage, fodder beet and farm yard manure.

Since the completion of the original project, Bagley Biogas has continued to develop the plant using Marches Biogas to help them with the integration of additional equipment including a second CHP unit rated at 350kWe, a 1,000kWth dryer and a biogas chiller.  The CHP and dryer were purchased by Bagley Biogas, who then employed Marches Biogas to design and fabricate the interconnecting pipework.  The biogas chiller was required with the additional CHP capacity which was designed and installed by Marches Biogas.  Marches Biogas, under the Principle Biogas division, continues to work closely with Bagley Biogas on a variety of additional project developments.
