Once the digester at Cardiff WwTW had been cleaned out we used a drone, flown by C&C Drones, alongside Pebble Engineering, to carry out an internal tank survey.  The benefit of using a drone is that there is no requirement to scaffold the inside of the tank adding cost and time to the project, unless further investigation is required.

Our engineers have been onsite at Cardiff WwTW working alongside Baldwins Crane Hire to lift up each of four digester mixer lances and swap out the nozzles while the digester is empty.  The nozzles can get blocked up with rag during the recirculation mixing process making them ineffective and leading to process instability.  While onsite, they also used the crane to swap out the mixer pumps.

Marches Biogas is attending the Irish Renewable Gas Conference 2025!

The transition to a low-carbon future in Ireland is well underway. This event brings together key industry stakeholders to discuss the role of biomethane and green hydrogen in achieving Ireland’s Climate Action Plan target of 5.7TWh of biomethane by 2030—a challenge that will require over 150 anaerobic digestion plants.

We’re looking forward to demonstrating how Marches Biogas and Glanua can support Ireland’s transition to anaerobic digestion to decarbonise the energy infrastructure and create new opportunities for industry.

For more information on the conference , visit https://lnkd.in/d65UJ6xJ

Today at the Gibson Hotel, Dublin.

At Marches Biogas, we understand that the synergy between mechanical and biological processes is key to efficient biogas production.

The mechanical processes create the optimum conditions for the anaerobic bacteria to thrive, ensuring they are fed on a regular basis, with effective heating and mixing systems.

That’s why our mechanical and biological teams collaborate seamlessly to offer comprehensive support for the entire process.

Interested in learning more about how we can enhance your biological and mechanical processes?  Contact us today.
